เมื่อวันที่ ๒ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๘ นายดำรง ใคร่ครวญ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะดาโต๊ะซรี มุสตาปา โมฮาเม็ด รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการค้าระหว่างประเทศและอุตสาหกรรมมาเลเซีย เพื่อแนะนำตัวในโอกาสเข้ารับหน้าที่ ในโอกาสนี้ ได้มีโอกาสหารือข้อราชการและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับประเด็นต่าง ๆ อาทิ ความร่วมมือเพื่อขยายมูลค่าการค้าชายแดน การประชุมคณะกรรมการร่วมทางการค้าไทย-มาเลเซีย ความร่วมมือเพื่อพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมฮาลาล การพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานเพื่อเสริมสร้างความเชื่อมโยง และประเด็นการคมนาคมขนส่งข้ามแดนระหว่างไทยกับมาเลเซีย

 

On 2 June 2015, H.E. Mr. Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dato' Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia, to introduce himself upon taking up his duty in Kuala Lumpur. On this occasion, the two discussed and exchanged views on various issues of mutual interests including the possibility of expansion of border trade, the upcoming Joint Trade Committee, infrastructure development, halal cooperation, and issues concerning cross-border land transport.
